TAMWORTH WRAP UP        2015
Well, my 30th Tamworth Festival has come and gone – and the decision to move our shows to the new time of 11AM seems to have worked quite well, with audience numbers the same as recent years. We had surprise visits from Amber Lawrence, Wayne Horsburgh, Jayne Denham and Melanie Dyer and, of course, Darren Carr, Katelyn, Liam and Kasey O’Donoghue and Rustling Russell provided lots of laughs and great music every day.

GALLIPOLI Audio CD Official Launch
The play for Voices with Music and Songs, We Were There – The Story of Gallipoli was officially launched at Tamworth with a performance on the eve of Australia Day at Wests Diggers. Katelyn and I sang the songs and I played Capt Green. Robyn McMillan played the nurse and Geoffrey Graham, dressed in authentic WW1 uniform, played Corporal Gold.

The CD is now available commercially via WJO as well as via mail order at www.jimhaynes.com.au

•It was a thrill when my Latest book ‘Australia’s Best Unknown Stories’ made it onto the top ten best selling list for Allen & Unwin over the Christmas retailing period. I was amazed to see my name only ONE place below J K Rowling!

Thanks to all of those people who bought it!at

Hope to see you at STONE THE CROWS FESTIVAL ….if not before. Travel safe.
